Why These Themes?
Every color choice is intentional. Here's the science behind our design decisions.
No Pure White
Pure white (#FFF) backgrounds cause screen glare and increase visual stress. Our warm cream and muted tones eliminate this entirely.
No Pure Black
Pure black (#000) causes "halation" — text bleeds visually on high-contrast screens. Our deep slate avoids this optical artefact.
AAA Contrast
Both themes exceed WCAG 2.1 AAA standards (≥ 7:1 contrast ratio) — the highest accessibility rating for text readability.
